I really feel like I dont have to write this blog but since I love Canada and will be writing about it a bit I felt like this would be a good little short and sweet blog for some who might not know the answer to that title.
Long story, short ... absolutely.
Long story-
Although Canada is not known to be a super popular solo destination it's completely do-able. I really don't know why there aren't many solo's there, maybe because of the cold? The toughest TSA I've ever been through was actually going through Canada for some reason they thought it was really strange I was alone and questioned the shit out of me. The agent got so personal I almost wanted to ask if he wanted my number.. but then again probably not the smartest move to do.
I have gone twice now, once to Toronto and another to Banff. Both times I went I've had an amazing time. I would've kept going back if it weren't for covid and the strict rules they enforced. I think just recently Americans were allowed to re-enter. I even met the cutest guy at a bar and his name is also Taylor..lol thanks mom for the common name. I plan on going back to visit him again one day. When I go back I'd love to visit Vancouver & Montreal as those are also some pretty well known cities.
Anyways I'll save me tips for other blogs but I want to say in conclusion, Canada is a great place to solo and I would highly recommend it for a first trip!
Dont forget to try the Beaver Tails & Tim Hortons!!!
